Scholarship Exam – Year 7 & 10
Each Year the College runs a Scholarship Examination, for students who have demonstrated significant academic ability.
The Scholarship Exam is run twice per year, in March and May and is open to all current Year 6 and Year 9 students wishing to gain an academic scholarship for entry to the College the following academic year.
Please note First round of Testing has been postponed. The process on First and Second Round Testing will be advised at a later date.

Two testing dates are available in 2020 for Year 7 and Year 10 2021 intake.
2020 Scholarship Examination Dates
Wednesday 25th March 2020 (Year 7 2021 intake only)
Registrations Close: 10.00am, Thursday 5th March 2020
Wednesday 20th May 2020 (Year 7 & Year 10 2021 intake)
Registrations Close: 10.00am, Thursday 30th April 2020
Please note – Registration for the Select Entry Enrichment Pathway & Scholarship Examination is essential.
No late registrations will be accepted after closing date.
The HAST Examination
The testing is conducted using the Higher Ability Selection Test (HAST) administered by the Australian Council for Educational Research (ACER). Learning areas assessed on the examination include; abstract reasoning, mathematical reasoning, reading comprehension and written expression.
The results allow the College to identify highly able students who may then be awarded with an academic scholarship to the value of $1,500 ($500 per year over three years). The scholarships can be used towards school related items. These students are also invited to take part in the Select Entry Enrichment Pathway (SEEP) Program at the College.
Registration is essential. Further information and testing dates will be made available towards the end of each school year.
