In year 10, students are in the final year of studying the Victorian Curriculum and will continue their core subjects of English, Maths, Humanities and Science. Our new pastoral care subject, Connect will also form part of every student’s program from years 7-12.
Year 10 students study six units each semester – 12 units of work over the course of the year. Units of study in Year 10 operate for seven periods per fortnight for each semester.
Year 10 allows for further student preferences within the curriculum requirements to enable a wide breadth of knowledge and skills to develop before year 11 and 12 when they follow an individual choice of subjects and study pathways, choosing between VCE and VCE-VM.
